Khuda Aur Mohobbat

01 JUN 2025

Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has blessed us with countless blessings. Just look at yourself—from head to toe—and observe. Your eyes—Allah has given you two. Your hands—He has given you two. If you look at your entire body, everything is in pairs. But there is only **one heart**. Why is that? Because Allah created the heart as **one** so that you may love Him the most. If you fall in love with someone in this world, sometimes you start loving them **more than Allah**, thinking that it is the right thing to do. But in reality, it is not. **How?** For example, when parents love their children or when someone loves another person, they often give gifts to express their love. When they present a gift, their feelings towards it change. They cherish the gift **because** it is for their beloved. Similarly, our **true love** is for Allah. Our hearts should first and foremost be filled with **love for Allah**, and then, after that, for the blessings that He has given us. **The greatest gift** Allah has given us is that He made us part of the **Ummah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)**. And we love him **for the sake of Allah**. Allah commands us in the Quran to love our beloved Prophet (ﷺ) after loving Him. All the blessings we have—whether it be **wealth, children, health, or anything else**—are all gifts from Allah because He loves us **more than 70 mothers**. If Allah loves us so much, why shouldn’t we love Him in return? **The best kind of love** is the one that brings you **closer to Allah**. Everything in this world is temporary. All the blessings that Allah has granted us in this life will eventually be taken away. One day, everything we hold dear will be separated from us. And on the **Day of Judgment**, every single action will be accounted for. Allah will ask: *"I placed love in your heart—where did you spend it, and for whom?"* **Undoubtedly, all sovereignty belongs to Allah alone.** May Allah place **His love** in our hearts. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “When Allah loves a servant, He calls Jibril (Gabriel) and says: ‘Verily, I love so-and-so, so you should love him.’ Then Jibril loves him and announces in the heavens: ‘Verily, Allah loves so-and-so, so you should love him.’ Then the inhabitants of the heavens (angels) love him, and then acceptance is placed for him on Earth.” — Sahih al-Bukhari (Hadith 3209) and Sahih Muslim (Hadith 2637)

O Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Forgiving O Allah, forgive all those who have passed away, Forgive all those who are living, Forgive the believers—men and women—young and old, Those we know and those we do not know. O Allah, shower Your Rehmat upon the hearts that are hurting, Upon the souls that are lost, Upon the homes that are broken, And upon the nations that are suffering. Ya Allah, guide us all to Your light, Unite us in goodness, And do not leave any of us without Your mercy and pardon on the Day we return to You. Ameen, Ya Rabb al-‘Alameen.
